The Story
In 2022, I needed a simple image converter. Every tool I found was either cluttered with ads, required an account, or had ridiculous file size limits. So I built my own.
That single tool taught me something important: there's a massive gap between what users need and what's available. Most online tools are built for profit first, users second.
I decided to flip that model. Every tool on Filator is built with one question: "What would make this the best possible experience for the user?"
Today, Filator has 50+ tools and growing. Each one is 100% free, works offline, processes files locally in your browser, and requires zero signup. This isn't a side project — it's my mission.
